What is a housing society?

A housing society is similar to a co-op. The land and complex are owned and operated by the members of the Society. $105,000 buys you a membership to the society. Your low monthly maintenance fee covers all your utilities including basic cable, heat, electricity, hot water and grounds maintenance. Your only cost is your telephone and internet.

Do I pay property taxes?

Yes.The property taxes for the property is divided between the units and are very low. If you are over 65 your property taxes can be as low as $100. per year .

Can I have pets?

No. The complex has a no pets, no smoking policy
